By the way did I mention that I'm a county master gardener? But don't ask me for advice. Go where I go for answers to the university extension website.

Can you share the URL to that website? Thanks.

I'm a Master Gardener in Florida. What a distance apart!. Our gardens should offer a good contrast.

Hi, Essex County MG from NJ new to Tabblo. Our Ext. is Rutgers/Douglas, but I also use coop extensions from Universities all over the Country. Especially good if searching for something native to that region. Currently hunting for pics of Herb Gardens, specifically formal or Colonial style. Restoring an historic NJ garden.

Love for Gardening created by Vinca on May 23, 2007:

Though i have always enjoyed gardens & did a bit of gardening as a kid, this is my first attempt at "proper" gardening. By proper, i mean that i did a thorough research on the plants i was growing. At one point in time, i actually grew quite obsessed with my work. I prefer organic gardening & try out new methods in order to get successful results. The creativity of nature in flora & fauna shall always amaze me. I thought this would be a good platform to exhibit your gardening joys. I myself would love to see what people grow in their gardens around the world. Gardening is a continuous process of growing & learning. And i still have a lot to learn. I am sure there are many of you out there who share this passion of mine and might like to join a group solely for this wonderful hobby.

Hi Vinca, how are you today. This is good timing, forming a gardening group, because I have just started a little photography project. I am going to try to photograph and identify all of the flowers and shrubs in my garden and compare different areas of the garden year by year. I will be posting a tabblo soon (that could be a day or a week!) Take care, Noreen

If I'm not at work, I'm in my garden. Well, that's mostly true except that I do have to do the occasional survivor tasks like eating, laundry and grocery shopping. I'm glad to find this Tabblo site. I have lots of photos of my garden and have visited botanical gardens both locally and abroad. I'm a county master gardener, but that is just the beginning of learning how to be an expert. Like Vinc said that is always a lot more to learn. Well, back to the weeding, fertilizing and mulching. Thanks for making a Gardening group in Tabblo.

Thank you for inviting me to this group Vinca. We live in the Laurentian Mountains in the province of Quebec Canada. Both my wife & myself spend our time spliting, planting, weeding, and of course, more weeding. The pleasure that we receive far outweighs the work that we put in.

In June, I said if I'm not at work, I'm in the garden. That has changed. I have become a garden writer, which is not a big stretch. My day job is technical writing and I have a BS in Technical Journalism for Oregon State University. So now I'm spending time researching, interviewing and writing garden feature stories and pitch letters instead of weeding, planting, fertilizing, mulching and mowing. My garden has suffered from the change, but I'm moonlighting and practicing the career I want to have when I retire in about three years. I hope once I get really good at my new moonlighting job, that I will still have some time for gardening. I gotta go now and pick all those overgrown zucchinis, cucumbers and peppers. I miss having time to look at all the great Tabblos on this site. I will toss into a new Tabblo a group of my last garden photos which I took in May just so I'm not forgotten on this group. Happy gardening to all.
