Storyboards created by Candice on Nov 22, 2006:

Just wondering if anyone could help me out. I was killing time one evening and came across the storyboard group in flickr and was wondering how they did it. Do you need a special program or is it something you could do in PSP? Here's an example of one:

Remember I'm newbie to all of this... so speak very slowly. LOL. Thanks in advance! :)

If you by storyboard mean several pictures between each other do like this in PSP: 1 File=>New, give size for final image. 2. Open pictures you like to merg. 3. Select one press CTRL +C. 4 Goto the empty you created. Press CTRL + E. 5 Repeat for each picture.

If you misscalulated the size from start: Go to Image menu => Canvas size.

I am curious how many folks use RAW vs JPG... if you use RAW could you reply to this (with your camera format)?

Thanks (and sorry if you received a dupe of this - I posted it in another forum too).

I just added a Tabblo that should help beginners using RAW conversion with Photoshop or Photoshop Elements.

Would love to see other tutorials in this area.

Neat Image is suuuuper. Automatic Device Noise profile helps you to take away or at least reduce noise due to i. e bad light, high ISO or poor camera

Jasc Paint Shop Pro , I have used for years and am very happy about it. Now the comapny is bougth by Corel. Dont know if latest version is good or not. Have a feeling that they overcharge. Anyone who have tried it?
LostAbroad said at 3:27 p.m. on Nov 18, 2007:
I would love to have Photoshop but it's so expensive and requires lots of time to learn how to use... thus I mostly use http://photofiltre.free.fr/frames_en.htm free-ware. It's handy and easy to use without knowing much.

Software that helps to organize your big "pile" of pictures that you sometimes in the future will take care of.

Picasa 2 is in my opinion the most easy-to-use software. Its free and search is fast. Nice features! I seldom use the built in editor. Porly or bad control of effects and tuning. Most often the program overdo it. Strength is in search and organize.

Hollyridger said at 1:01 p.m. on Nov 14, 2006:
I, too, use Picasa2 more than any other software just to download and organize. I really like the way you can very quickly list the folders either by creation date or by name. Next on my list is ACDSee (located less than 10 kms from where I live so I have a certain local loyalty!) followed by Elements, currently v. 3. This is an excellent idea creating different Groups but as they grow I can see difficulties finding one's way around. Perhpas Eduardo will come up with some system,
