The picture below this is an example of Youtube and other forms of internet music or videos. These technologies have made it much simpler for me to find music that I love and gives me a great form of media other than the radio which is generally cluttered with horrible music.

After checking out Youtube videos or streaming some music I often purchase cds or dvds based upon what I have seen on the internet. It gives me a better example of how good the product I am purchasing really is before I check out.

This picture also represents Amazon.com which has revolutionized the way I shop. No longer do I have to go to a retail outlet and sort through the endless rows of tasteless cds or movies. I can now instantly search for what I am looking for and make the purchase. Also I never have to leave my home and so I can sit in my shorts with a shirt off (and no shoes!).

AIM (Or Aol Instant Messenger) makes it so much easier to talk to a large number of my friends at once, even while doing homework or watching tv. It also comes in handy when people are at work and can't talk on the phone but don't have anything to do.

Texting is convenient when you don't wish to have a full on phone conversation with someone. Its kind of like an AIM for your cellular phone. It also helps during class when you are bored and you can't talk on the phone but you wish to say something to one of your buddies.

Cellular phones make it so I can be contacted at anytime anywhere. It works the other way as well allowing me to contact someone else by phone regardless as to where I am as well. This may have negative affects however as getting called when your trying to sleep in on a weekday when you are skipping class is very annoying.
