Luddite or Future Shock?

AND a specialty pen store

There was a time when we thought that e-mail would change the way we write letters. It was free, it was stream-of-consciousness, and immediate. But do people really write letters the length of short stories any longer, now that many o f us receive 1000 e-mails a day at work? And if you get one that long, do you really want to read it?

Is my dad Camille Paglia? He was born before WWII and can read and listen to a BLARING TV at the same time.

Once upon a time, I worked at a big-box bookstore......

At the book store there was a big push to sell e-books. Remember those? Do you really want to read a book on your cell phone or PDA? Do you still have a PDA, BTW?
