You really caught the atmosphere of the jam session. Nice flow to these great photos. So much happening here, i'll have to come back a few more times to catch it all. I see the beer in the snow, but where's the Tequilla.?
Pkeener said at 11:02 p.m. on Jan 13, 2008:
hey amiga! the tequila was inside...it is always so challenging to get good shots at a jam. so please forgive the quality. i thought it would be fun to post this in your group, to show the behind the scenes stuff.

What a great monday blues tabblo...good shots Pam.
Leftofcenter said at 7:26 a.m. on Jan 14, 2008:
like linda said, you can "feel" the vibe, love the guitar shots, the amps, the signs "support your local musician" and the smiling guys of course, they're always smiling when they are with their buddies jammin' the night away...
Leftofcenter said at 7:26 a.m. on Jan 14, 2008:
I know these things.
Pkeener said at 8:32 a.m. on Jan 14, 2008:
Happy Monday! Nina! like your avatar. leftie, you know it better than most...
LatentE said at 8:33 a.m. on Jan 14, 2008:
Nice. I think you did a great job of capturing the mood. I had a smile while looking through the images. Snow cooled brews too. So this is what was going on upstairs.
Pkeener said at 8:43 a.m. on Jan 14, 2008:
Yes! it was close to the end, and they were bringing it down..thanks LAtent
LatentE said at 8:57 a.m. on Jan 14, 2008:
Looks like it was tight quarters for picture taking, especially with high strung musicians. :P Ironically, though I've the musical talent of a rock, a while back I acquired a '60s Fender amp. Separate amp and speaker boxes. Two 12 inch speakers. Sadly, it doesn't go up to "11."
Pkeener said at 9:03 a.m. on Jan 14, 2008:
that so funny you mention that Latent, because they were trying to keep the volume low for the rest of the party that was going on downstairs..it was VERY tight quarters, but they are used to me now, wlaking through, crouching beside or behind them, i try to be invisible, but its hard. its also hard toget good shots of them! just have to fire away in the moment. i have a ton more shots, and i might edit this later...
Bxrgirl27 said at 10:12 a.m. on Jan 14, 2008:
What a wonderful collection of shots, Pam! I love the red guitar nestled among those black and whites toward the top - and the shots of the beer on snow! NIce :-)

Too cool (except for the red guitar, which is hot). You did indeed capture the atmosphere of the session.

Excellent Pammie, j'avais envie d'y entrer dans cette pièce à musique, c'est chose faite. Merci pour ces images jazzy, north winds. Salut mon amie

Love this one Pam....the layout gives the close quarters and jammin feeling. Looks like you were able to become invisible to the guys too...but i cant seem to find the snow beer. Good job Keeners.
AliDar said at 1:23 p.m. on Jan 16, 2008:
Finally! I've been to this tabblo about 5 times now and this is the first time all of the photos downloaded. I'm very glad I persisted; I love seeing all the detailed little bits like the stickers wires, labels, and stuff like that in amongst all the broader points of view. ... Makes you feel like you're there seeing the stuff for yourself. Looks like a great bunch of guys, ... and fun too. .... I see the kazoo! :)
Decoy said at 6:34 p.m. on Jan 16, 2008:

This don't look like a monday, Aweosme tabblo Pam. (I found a poem about a monday feeling).
THE MONDAY BLUES

I WENT TO WORK THIS MORNING, TIRED BUT ALERT,
TRIPPED ON THE RUG; SPILLED COFFEE ON MY SHIRT.
I WALKED INTO MY OFFICE SAT DOWN AND READ A FILE,
I BUZZED THE OUTER OFFICE, SHE SAID, HOLD ON,
I'LL BE THERE IN A WHILE.

I SIFTED THROUGH THE MAIL; THERE WAS MUCH I HAD TO DO
I STOOD UP FOR A SECOND AND DROPPED INK UPON MY SHOE;
THE PHONE RANG TEN TIMES BEFORE IT FINALLY STOPPED,
IT WAS A TYPICAL MONDAY, AND I FELT I MIGHT JUST DROP.

I GOT THE MONDAY BLUES, FRIDAY SEEMS SO FAR AWAY.
I GOT THE MONDAY BLUES, WISH I COULD GO BACK TO YESTERDAY.
I GOT THE MONDAY BLUES, THINGS ARE REALLY BLEAK,
WHY, I ASK, CAN'T SATURDAY LAST THE ENTIRE?

MY SECRETARY WENT HOME EARLY, SHE SAID SHE HAD THE FLU,
THE MEETING I WASN'T READY FOR WAS SCHEDULED FOR HALF-PAST TWO,
MY WIFE CALLED, SAID SHE'S HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE CAR,
COULD I CATCH A BUS HOME SINCE IT'S NOT ALL THAT FAR.

THE BOSS CAME IN WITH A STACK OF WORK FOR ME,
SAID, TAKE YOUR TIME, I DON'T NEED THESE BACK TILL THREE.
I SMILED, SAID SURE, NO PROBLEM, I'LL DO WHAT I CAN,
I KNOW, HE SAID, YOU'RE ONE HELL OF A DECENT MAN.

I GOT THE MONDAY BLUES, FRIDAY SEEMS SO FAR AWAY.
I GOT THE MONDAY BLUES, WISH I COULD GO BACK TO YESTERDAY.
I GOT THE MONDAY BLUES, THINGS ARE REALLY BLEAK,
WHY, I ASK, CAN'T SATURDAY LAST THE ENTIRE WEEK?

I FINISHED UP THE DAY THE BEST WAY I KNEW HOW,
BY THE TIME I LEFT THE OFFICE I HAD A FURROWED BROW,
I TOOK THE BUS HOME, IT GOT TO BE REAL LATE,
I WALKED INTO THE HOUSE, SHE YELLED,
DINNER'S RUINED, IT'S TWENTY AFTER EIGHT.

I SMILED, SAID SORRY, HOW WAS YOUR DAY TODAY?
SHE SAID, I'LL TELL YOU; I WISH IT WAS SATURDAY.

I GOT THE MONDAY BLUES, FRIDAY SEEMS SO FAR AWAY.
I GOT THE MONDAY BLUES, WISH I COULD GO BACK TO YESTERDAY.
I GOT THE MONDAY BLUES, THINGS ARE REALLY BLEAK,
BOY I HOPE I MAKE IT THROUGH THE REST OF THE WEEK.
I GOT THE MONDAY BLUES; WHY CAN'T SATURDAY LAST THE ENTIRE WEEK?
