The edifice stands in the water. Getting to it would require a dip and a climb (and possibly an encounter with a friendly police officer). Somebody must have done it, some time, however, or there would be no graffiti on the walls.

Love the reference to Tim Burton....I got the same feeling when I looked at this. The reality seems just a tad warped. MOST interesting subject and like the pov.

The Burton comment made me smile. They're haunting edifices. in some not-distant season, they'll fall and crumble, and I'm glad to have seen them in their spare, peculiar, heron-legged beauty.
