On Friday, January 11, 2008, Central Point Police Officer, Willie Mott, was laid to rest after one last trip through Central Point, Oregon, which he served for four years.

Police agencies throughout Oregon in addition to California State Troopers honored Willie in a procession consisting of over 85 police cars.

All along the procession, sidewalks were lined with citizens paying their last respects.
