Cooper Hawk in the Rain

This Cooper hawk was perched on the fence, watching over our bird feeder.  The Cooper Hawk thinks of a bird feeder in a different way than the small birds that it attracts.  The Hawk wants to make it's meal of the birds.

A simply wonderful capture. His eyes and feathers are so nice and crisp. I'll bet the smaller birds quickly disappeared when he arrived!
