My own private Venice (III)

Presto o tardi

del mio puerile inganno e ora so

che volante o pedestre, stasi o moto

in nulla differiscono. C’è chi ama

bere la vita a gocce o a garganella;

Thanks, DEE. I loved Venice, too, and hope will visit it more and more times, because each time I've been there was a totally new experience.

One stop in Italy where I have never been... love that first picture.

PHIL: Italy deserves at least one visit in a lifetime. Everything is great in that country: architecture, landscape, people, food. There's History and Art everywhere.

I like Montale's poems, CLAUDIO. Fortunatelly I have a bilingual edition because my Italian is not enough for his deep, intense poetry.

these photos captures a different essence of the venice that we usually see in most other photos...i sense more adventure here somehow...

ESIAGIAN: that's why I call these tabblos "my own private Venice": I like it empty, stuck somehow in time, with no age nor date. An atemporal (timeless?) city.

Very beautiful! If I could go anywhere in the world I think I would choose Italy first. Thanks for sharing this.
Eduardo.affonso said at 10:27 p.m. on Sep 6, 2006:
Why don't you get there, JILL? You'd love it, I'm sure.

Você adora mesmo barcos, né Eduardo?
Eduardo.affonso said at 12:59 p.m. on Sep 7, 2006:

This is so quiet and beautiful. One expects to see the gratuitous colorful images of Venice. Nicely done

Lindo tabblo.
