Dalai Lama at Vancouver City Hall

The Dalai Lama paid his forth visit to Vancouver on Sep 7. The purpose of this trip was to particite in the opening ceremony of the "Dalai Lama Peace and Education Centre" in Vancouver.

This is the first centre in the world named after his Holiness. The centre planned to open in 2009. The Dalai Lama and the other Nobel prize laureats, such as Desmond Tutu, Shirin Ebadi, Jimmy Carter, and Mairead Maguire  would host series of seminars for the centre.

Dalai would host 5 public seminars and discussion sessions as the first speaker of the centre in this trip.

These pictures are taken during the Dalai Lama's media Q&A in Vancouver City Hall. As the third person to be granted the honorary citizenship by the parliment of Canada, Dalai said he'd be happy to know what privilege and rights Canadaian citizens have.
