marine national park pulau seribu

taman nasional laut pulau seribu. the mini archipelago of kepulauan seribu [thousand islands] is situated at the bay of jakarta and consist 20+ inhabitant and uninhabitant small islands.

there are several approaching points to visit thousand islands archipelago. from sunda kelapa harbour or marina pier in ancol amusement and water park.

more closer to the mainland, the visibility of the water is rather gloomy. far and further more, can be found the blue turquoise water. and the northernmost of the archipelago can be seen a lighthouse that situated at pulau damar [torch island].

we can choose the most interesting islands based on our own version. pulau kelapa [kelapa island] is the most densely populated island. meanwhile in pulau pramuka, we can visit turtles and butterflies nursery houses.
