fruit salad anyone?? "biribiri" is a word from my childhood, dunno, maybe it grows in Indonesia? very colorful, exotic, yummee tabblo, poster worthy. all i can say... (no not bwana) "way cool!!!" ;)

ANNELIES: These fruits weren't meant for salad, but for... caipirinhas! I tasted many of them - and umbu is my favorite. In some of the latest pics you can see bottles of ron, vodka and cachaça. The barmen prepare the drinks on the streets or at the beach and make these arrangments of fruits to attract the customers, of course. I had never heard of "biribiri" before. It's a native plant, don't know if it grows in Indonesia. But I loved its name, by the way.

BRILLIANT - in every way!!! Your choice of title is pure genius! I love all the photos but my most favorite of all is the very last shot - a little of everything! It's a beautiful sum-up of all the individual juicy images you took!

Liliana said at 7:40 a.m. on Jan 31, 2008:
Corrijo: aunque tal vez..., cómo hacer, "cores e nomes" (je,je, me salió portuñol), a los costados, aunque no sé... Qué desastre escribir a lo loco.
Tishfish said at 5:50 a.m. on Oct 8, 2009:
They look very succulent ! ! I would try everything. Fantastic shot ! ! !
Eduardo.affonso said at 6:50 a.m. on Oct 8, 2009:
DOREEN: I am sure you would love them. But I don't think you will ever find most of them at your local supermarket, in Nova Scotia...
