Looks like a very lovely hike. Great pics! I am in awe of your botanical knowledge! Where are the Sandia Foothills? I'm guessing somewhere in the southwest? I guess I'll go google it. :)

Nice shots- reminds me of AZ but I don't think you can find as much variety on a typical trail there as what's featured here.

this is lovely. I love hiking. I'd never know all the names of the flowers though. I like the field of 'golden weed best.

Wonderfully put together tabblo! And it brings back fun memories too. I remember quite well the day my brother and I rode the tramway up to the top... way back in 1971! :)
