My kids always seem to find some sort of issue with their homework; it's either too hard or too long or too boring.  In my opinion, it's homework, period, and that is the issue.  After listening to them complain for what seemed like forever, I picked up my camera. 

"Okay, since you're complaining so much, let's show everybody just how bad homework is", I said. 

They jumped at the challenge, really getting into it.  Almost immediately we all began to laugh.  Needless to say, laughter saved the day.
