On Saturday, January 26, 2008, the Round Lake Library celebrated the 8th birthday of Lad, the library dog!  Doesn't he look excited?

Mrs. Debbie rescued Lad as a puppy from a local shelter 8 years ago, when she started working at the Round Lake Library.  Over the years, he went to school with her while she was getting her degree, and Lad became a therapy dog.  He is often at the library for a variety of programs, or just to keep us company.

Everybody loves Lad!
