Thebeautifullife said at 3:28 p.m. on Sep 28, 2006: I love that last pic on the right....you look like you are hundreds of feet tall...and the cars so teeny-tiny. The giant American...watch out! lol Is that your beautiful wife? I saw the spider! but was curious about the white spots on the leaves.
DavidBoudreau said at 11:31 p.m. on Oct 1, 2006: Yes, the cars here can be very small- you see me hunched over 2 pics above it from dealing with it all the time. That spider web shot was hard to capture for some reason- I could walk right up to it but the web wasn't showing up in the viewer. The tree trunk is growing out of the incline, uphill from me, and the sun was shining from the other side of the web. After a few tries I realized it wasn't happening so I turned off the flash and this was the best I could do. That's about the limits of my photographic abilities, turning off the flash. So the white spots are just the sun shining through, or maybe even reflecting off something.
