Paihia & Russell - New Zealand North Island

Russell - Flagstaff point: makes you want to stand right at the edge of that point..

Immediate below and right: Beaches at Paihia / Russell

Another point of view at the Flagstaff point.

Below R: The dog belongs to the owner of a motel, in which a friend stayed over during her trip here last time.

Below left: At the bottom of the hill - where our motel is actually nested!

The rooms are real nice and tidy. (Bottom)

Nice. Hey, wouldn't it be neat if we could do those jumps at places that just beckon it? (and survive, mind you! LOL)

Yes it's quite an old town with history - it is near where the agreement between the Britain and the indigenous people of NZ were signed.

It is one of the oldest town in NZ. It was gorgeous day out when I took the pic!!
