On the 19th and 20th of February, 2006, I drove to a trade show in San Francisco across the Bay and Golden Gate Bridges, before dawn. I was driving a rented Ford Fusion, which has a fairly flat dashboard. So I set my Nikon 5700 up there, opened the aperature all the way, and took manual "bulb" shots at ISO 100. These are the results. |

An advantage of the Nikon is its flip-out viewer. I could see the picture I was taking, while I was driving, and the camera was on the dashboard. I tried the same later with a Canon 30D SLR and the results sucked. |
