I played a little in Photoshop yesterday, using a technique to get pictures look old. It was easy, and done in a minute.
This is the way I did it, if you would like to try it for yourself. |

|
Technique to use:
Go to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation. Check the box for Color, and put both Hue and Saturation to amount 30. Press OK and you will get the old fashioned colour.
Go to Filter > Noise > Add noise Set amount to 6, and check the box for Gaussian and Monochromatic. Press OK and you will get a structure less sharp.
Go to Filter > Texture > Grain Set Intensity to 4, and Contrast to 40. Set Grain Type to Vertical Press OK and you will get more punch to it, and more diffuse structure.
If you want you can add some cracks: Go to Filter > Texture > Craquelure Spacing 60, Depth 2 and Brightness 7 |
