Drysdale Invitational Finals, January 19, 2008

The Drysdale Invitational is a wrestling tournament hosted by Poudre High School, honoring the late Bob Drysdale, a beloved teacher and coach who is known for saying "Bite off more than you can chew, then chew like hell!"

Congratulations to all the wrestlers who competed. Poudre's team got 2nd place at the tournament.

At 103 pounds, Poudre's Anthony Lazano took 2nd place, John Stockley took 3rd place, and Ronnie Toplyn took 3rd--although only Anthony's effort counted towards team points (Stockley was wrestling for the "B" team, and Toplyn was wrestling "unattached.")

Ronnie's older brother, John Toplyn took 2nd place at 112 pounds.

Shane Story got 2nd place at 119 pounds.

Kalvin Knott earned a 4th place medal.

Gregory and Michael Trostel took 1st place at their respective weights.

Zachary Bekkedahl got 2nd place.

Chris Worrell got 3rd place.

Timothy Picaretto took 4th place honors at 215 pounds.

Thanks for the pointer on editing text in the tabblo, Tishfish. I think I have the boo-boos fixed, so am deleting my comment about it, and also your response (because it would look funny with my comment gone ;) ).
