Yes, it does. I *know* that lamppost. This is amazing.

Cool design !

Thank you. It was a bit of a tussle and it's good to hear that the result merited the effort.

And thank you, Steve. I know your eye and appreciate your words. The lamppost is awaiting a return visit from a Midwesterner who showed it proper appreciation.

Wow... I like this, very nice set! =)

Thank you, Noe. Given your eye for open spaces, your liking for my tight-in shots means much.

Seanan, i really got lost in this. the composition is exciting. i like the tension of the closeups and then the other shots. It pulls you in and out. this background is really nice. fresh!

Nicely put together, Seanan. Definitely like your up close shots and pieces.

Oh-and on closer study, i discovered the face.
SeánanForbes said at 11:16 p.m. on Feb 7, 2008:
Thank you both. Linda, you're going to have everybody searching. (That's not a complaint from me. I'm telling all of the 'What face?' people to write to you for hints, clues and answers.)

Another example of your fine photographic eye! The color reminds me of the Celadon of Ming Dynasty ceramics.

Do you think that glaze was inspired by copper's greens? It makes one (this one, if no other) wonder.

Génial, un regard unique sur les objets, les formes, la matière, la texture. Une belle composition. Du grand art. Bravo Seànan. Merci mon amie.

Ah, the sweep and grandeur of architecture. What it's seen, what it's inspired and the generations yet to come. Just knowing that each relief, each nuance was painstakingly handcrafted lends each piece an energetic stateilness that today's quickly-constructed condos cannot replicate.

i just love the designs and patina on copper :) you have a very creative eye!!!! :)
SeánanForbes said at 10:04 p.m. on Feb 11, 2008:
Thank you, Kris. Lack of quirkiness has never been my issue. If quirk equalled art, I'd be in business. Ah, Debra, if only I had a lifestyle to support the creativity. (I have a life, so am not complaining, believe me.) Marcia, you're so right about old-style craftsmanship and modern fabrication. I cannot create, but can only capture that which is still with us. Anna, thank you for the smile.

Wonderful way to catch the underappreciated details in the varying perspectives between similar pieces.
My favourite is the third to last.
