Ravi and Pammi Kalsi had come from India to build their American dream; they saved their money and started a India restaurant called Sahib in small strip mall in Richmond, California.  Then late this past Dec. 27, 2007 they were gunned down in the door way of their restaurant for no apparent reason and their killer has never been caught.

In this kind of senseless violence we all lose something of ourselves; I believe that to be our aliveness here in America.  What does it say about the community, the city, the state and the country we live in?  What does this say about our culture? When Ravi and Pammi Kalsi came to this county they came in "pursuit of happiness."  I never ate in their restaurant and did not know them personally but, I doubt the food they served was that bad that they had to be killed.  The question begs to be asked, "Who murdered Ravi and Pammi Kalsi and why?"
