A New Lens!

Just bought this 50mm f/1.7 prime lens and I've fitted it to my old Minolta film SLR.  I'm planning ahead for the time when I might be getting a dSLR.

 

I shot a roll of film and was very impressed with the speed and depth of field.  Yummy bokeh too!

Oooh, I just got myself the same lens (and a couple of other lenses -- all from a thrift store so they're fairly cheap) for my film Canon Rebel! It is an awesome lens, especially for portraits. I'm also planning ahead for when I'm getting a dSLR. Now that I've got the lenses, I know for sure which dSLR to buy. I like all the shots you took with the lens. Really nice DOF indeed!
