The Towel Gnome

Costa Rica, October 2006

Each morning at Hotel Parador, the Stewarts three gaily set off hand-in-hand down the hill for breakfast and the day's adventures. When we returned, we found our towels fashioned into improbable terry-cloth sculpture, sometimes charming and sometimes indescribable.

I'm going out on a limb here: but I think labor is cheap in Costa Rica.
