Makes me realize I don't look at my surroundings nearly enough. Good job!

Nice one...

Nice textures and patterns, the colors are great...

ok..you had me at the title. i think i love words even more than i love images..and then these colors remind me of my favorite Girl Scout cookies..mmmmmm..thin mints. but i digress! Seanan, this is really great. #4 looks like an abstract of piano strings...all of the images flow so nicely into one another. love the rust, naturally. thank you!

Thank you.

I agree, Doreen; trees are marvellous. Dominique, that is a staggering compliment. 'Nice one', coming from you, Enaldo, means much. Noe, I appreciate your eye and your observations. You sent me scurrying to textures (the group). I set up this tabblo without textures coming to mind except in terms of balancing one against another in the arrangement. (I'm stealing tabblo-arranging lessons from the best people on the site.)

Great tabblo Seanan. So much to look at with patterns, colors, light, textures...Each photograph of story of time and place.

Outstanding, as ever. Several of these -- especially the crosshatched wood and the rust/snow piece -- could anchor walls at showings.

My eye and brain are off. Tombstones in the snow, not rust. Argh.

I love the way you work and "struggle" with the layouts - it's not easy to balance pictures like this. But you've done it! Well done! Even though I love closeups and rust it's the parts of the trees I'll remember. Beeing sick with fever today, they looks so calming! =) Good work Seanan!

Your eye and brain are better than fine, Steve. Those stones look rusty to me, as well. That's one of the reasons the shots were taken. I grok 'Argh', however. It's one of my fluent states.

Anna, feel better. May more than tabblos bring calmness and healing to you today.

Une grande composition, une belle recherche artistique, c'est magique. Bravo mon amie.

Another great set. Love the title. wonderful flow.
SeánanForbes said at 11:52 a.m. on Feb 13, 2008:
Pat, you inspire me to keep creating them. Magique, Thierry? Beaucoup de mercis. Linda, I was terrifically chuffed about the title. It's grand that you like it, too. Thank you for the comment about the flow. I'm working hard on that.

Leaves and bark are great.
Graspless said at 4:43 p.m. on Feb 13, 2008:
Definitely getting favourited.
Right now.
And next time I see you we need to go on a walk together, I to sketch and drabble, you to take photos as I stare trying to figure out how you and Steve manage your confluent states.

The fifth one down (I don't know how you got it, but how's are hobbies and flings to woo into the open, not necessities), is absolutely breathtaking. It's like a visual representation of my manifesto at this point. Stand out enough to embrace, but not interrupt, the light that graces your existence.

The sixth one, logs and leaf, looks like the leaves are flowing like water trying to forge the branches.

Great set!

Very amazing group of pictures..this let me know that i dont look too much around my surroudings..there is a lot to explore that we dont want to see. Great shots..like always..
SeánanForbes said at 6:41 p.m. on Feb 17, 2008:
Thank you. Yurly, Aubry, I found that leaf-flow fascinating. It was unexpected: leaves trying to move like water. (That's my imagination.) Aubry, if I've taken a photograph that looks like a visual representation of your present manifesto, then please allow me to present you with a print. Ruben, you're right. there's a great deal out there that we miss, every day. It bugs me six ways from Sunday, knowing that. Thank you for the comments.
