Fall day at Mt Rainier - 2006

Some days you just get lucky!  I was returning to the Puget Sound over White Pass from a trip to Montana and decided at the spur of the moment to take the longer road through Mt Rainier National Park.

 

The sun was low in the brilliant blue Fall sky, highlighting the spectacular display of colors. (October 13, 2006)
