Bintan is a small island located off the edge of Indonesia, near Singapore. It's tropical climate holds suitable activites like canoeing, ATV trails and various sea related sports. There's several villas and resorts located near the coastlines of Bintan, and two fairly large golf courses in the centre of the island.

 

I find Bintan way too relaxed. I could just spend the whole day by the beach or the pool, and even shopping malls are scarce.
