Tuesday morning, after breakfast at our cabin, we drove over to the Magic Kingdom. We arrived early and watched with the growing throng as Micky, Minnie and a bunch of their pals pulled into the train station to join singers and dancers and music and opened the park! By the end of the day the crowds were INCREDIBLE but we still managed to see or go on 16 attractions/rides without huge waits. |

We didn't have dinner reservations for that night but we lucked out at Tony's Town Square Restaurant and only had a 15 minute wait as walk-ins. We were seated on the front porch, a great place to watch the world go by and Main Street light up. Before we left the park we did some souvenir shopping in the Emporium on Main Street. |

To avoid the crowds of people leaving after the fireworks, we left the park before they went off and watched from the marina at Fort Wilderness. Loud music suddenly started and colorful lighted figures began to float by. Then in the distance we saw the Magic Kingdom fireworks display. |
