2006 10 27 Philadelphia Airport Sunrise

This was one spectacular sunrise, over PHL: Philadelphia's International Airport. I shot these at the United Airlies concourse. Lots of people lined up along the window with their cameras to shoot it, and to talk camera trash.

 

At one point the whole sky turned orange — while the lights on poles stayed on in the foreground for a nice effect.

Amazing what nature can create on it's own. Glad you had your camera ready - rarely that you see a beautiful sky like this. Super shot with the tale of the plane and the sun behind it.
