I think so too Deb! =) I live in a kind of creative area, close to the Academy of fine arts.. so I think it is an artstudent! =)

Nice composition and tone! Well, you're creative, so makes sense you live in a "kind of creative area" :)

Is there exist more simplicity? Don't think so... Excellent Anna!

I saw a painting once "white on white", so I guess one can go even further in the simplicity! =) And I loved that painting!
This "art" remainds me of the Rothko I have framed! But Rothko has more colour though! =)

Very cool Anna, a window to another world. Yes, it is very simple, but also very thought provoking and it is interesting to read what each person thinks about it. So, does that take it out of the simple world and place it into the complex world. Okay, maybe I am reading too much in to it.

This somewhat reminds me “Black Square” by Kasimir Malevich:)

Andre, you are so right about Malevich! Thanks for posting the link =)

For myself I like the texture, the clean shape, the colours and the line of damp.. Had to think what I saw in the picture =)
Andre. said at 11:14 a.m. on Feb 28, 2008:
Well, Anna, I’m certainly not a guru, but yours makes me think far more than Malevich’s. Ooops...:)

i really like the two toned effect on the wall, which is important in the composition. Great Findf!!!
