~~~MOZART, Requiem, Lunel, France, November 2006~~~

Dear friends, I hesitated prior to publish the following pictures for they should be listen rather than to be seen. The bell tour of Notre Dame du Lac Church in Lunel, France, was built on the foundations of anciant watch tour which protected it from vandalism during religion wars. Not only this church offers a vast array of masters paintings of the midle age era but also it holds a church organ which was built by Rondelot et Décondé from Nîmes, and renovated in the year 1856 by Aristide Cavaillé-Col. Ahhh! The Mozart Requiem.It is a piece that I so much love ,it is perhaps one the most emotional ,beautiful and sombre piece of classical music.

Art combined: music, architecture and photography... just beautiful! Mozart's Requiem is one of my favorites master pieces too.
