The Chinese Pavilion Kina Slott in Swedish, is a small pleasure palace - perfect for partying - hidden away in the gardens of Drottningholm Castle. |

The Chinese Pavilion was given to Queen Lovisa Ulrika on her birthday 1753 by her husband King Adolf Fredrik as a surprise gift.
The original wooden building - that was built and transported there during a night - didn't last for long and it was replaced 10 years later by the current "Kina Slott" |

The Guards Tent Built in 1781. The idea behind the building was to give it an exoctic look and resemble a Turkish army camp. |
