Nous avons visité un nouveau naufrage découvert par la mer pendant une tempête récente.  Ce navire, le Logan, était perdu en 1920.  Il a été emporté par l’océan à terre près de notre maison.

 

 

We visited a new shipwreck uncovered by the sea during a recent storm.  This ship, the Logan, was lost in 1920.  Il was carried by the ocean to land near our house.

This is great! The shipwreck looks like the backbone and ribs of some giant animal. Lovely photos and an interesting tabblo!

As has been mentioned the relic looks like the remains of a great whale almost as much as a fragment from a great sea faring era.

Paula. I love how this tabblo unfolds, just like a mystery. i was so curious with each photo , to see what the mystery was! excellent job of putting it together. i really like the shots of Anthony, and you, and then the pieces of the ship, your explanation, and then the ocean in its vastness. What a perfect Tabblo. Beautiful photos, great story.

This is so cool Paula - wonderful photos and I love the history of it...some old cannons washed ashore on our coast of Cannon Beach, Ore. a couple of weeks ago...the town was actually named for the cannons on a large vessel that wrecked in the 1800's Thank you~

Salut Thierry! Oui, tu as raison!! La mer tient toujours beaucoup de merveille!! Merci pour la citation. Je notice qu’il date de la même année que le navire a trouvé sa mort!! (1920) C’était fascinant d’être dans la présence de ce navire! Il y avait tellement idées qui passent par mon esprit. Anthony et moi, nous avons appris qu’il transportait du charbon. Nous sommes contents de savoir qu’on laissera le navire dans sa place et permettre la mer de le réclamer. Merci, capitaine!! J’ai cru que tu trouverais cette histoire fascinante!! :)
Salut ma Joelle!! La plage à ce que le navire était emporté est la même que tu m’as dit te rappeler aux plages du Maroc!! Ah, ah, tu as raison – les Kennedys ont une résidence ici à Cape Cod, situé à Hyannis. Il y a beaucoup d’ans, quand j’étais serveuse de bar, j’ai servi Ted Kennedy (je te dirai les histories un jour)!! :) Quoi qu’il en soit, je suis heureuse que tu aimes ce Tabblo.
