A southerly front moved up the country today and hit Masterton at about 6:30pm, when the temperature dropped from about 12C to 4C.  Thunder loud enough to shake the house, lightning flashes, and then rain and hail.  10 minutes later, the sun was shining and we were greeted with a rainbow over the backyard.

Oh wow, the hail really hit you guys hard up there... only a few small bouts of hail in Wellington. Looks like you had fun playing with it thought :-)

Happy cyour children enoyed the storm. The storm left you a gift......... a beautiful rainbow.
