LatentE said at 7:27 a.m. on Mar 6, 2008: Whenever I see Japanese photographers using small ladders I'm reminded of a psychology professor I saw lecture years ago describing how we remember scenes from our past. Often it isn't as we actually saw the scene, from eye level, but instead from slightly above our heads, sometimes with the back of our heads in the view - as if we were standing over our past shoulders.

Charlespop said at 8:12 p.m. on Mar 6, 2008: Debdog, Foundation Day is a national holiday here in Japan.....sort of like our July 4. General Mcarthur banned it......it was re-established as a national holiday in 1966.
