We started this day of travel in Bakersfield California. We headed southeast on Highway 58 on our way to and through the Mojave dessert and on into Arizona. We weren't expecting anymore Mountains in California but before we knew it we were in the Tehachapi Mountains and stopped in Tehachapi for a pit stop. As soon we left Tehachapi we saw the trains going the same direction we were. We also noticed there were quite a few wind turbines. Actually it seemed more like thousands of them. Quite a site as you will see.
