This Little Piggy...

All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.

-Pablo Picasso

.

Today I had the honor of helping my son's 2nd grade class make little clay pigs.  They did this as a momento from their performance in February of the Three Piggy Opera.  (You can see more on that here: http://www.tabblo.com/studio/stories/view/1185966/)

I was on hand to help out and I don't know who had more fun, them or me!

Once they've been dried and fired in the kiln, they will get to paint their little pigs.

.

And yes, both my camera and I will be present for piggy painting day.  I couldn't possibly bring you this far and not show you the finished product!

Stay tuned...

This must have been great fun for the kids. I see lots of pigs (and some pigs who are disguised as cats ;o) )
