In early to mid 2007, I heard about Tonium's upcoming Pacemaker DJ tool. As soon as possible, I signed up to be in the initial limited beta release of the device.
Just last week, my long wait was over: I received my Pacemaker etched with the inscription '0009' -- the ninth unit ever shipped to the general public.
Below, you'll find my photos of my unboxing of this really clever and well-done device. After using it for a few days, I can report that not only do I love it, but I can also see its place in the professional DJ's toolset. It truly is a remarkable device. The user-interface is well thought-out and with only a little bit of practice and a simple one page graphic manual, I was able to get DJing with my Drum'n'Bass tracks almost immediately.
Now for the photos. Thank you very much Tonium for this amazing device. I look forward to all the cool firmware updates and editor releases. |
