Time Wins....

Nature lets us stay here.. but only for awhile.

The strongest and most powerful forces ever designed and constructed by the human race can not withstand even the weakest entities of nature.. They will fade...they will wrinkle..

they will weather... they will be taken back....

We are only but a transient in this world... like all things made by our hands, they fade through the ever movement of time...

The walls, the roads, the pillars, the ceilings...  They all fade and crumble away as the natural world takes back her space...

Lastly, what is truly left behind can only be found within the stories and colorful memories of our past passed on and on to the next one who will go forth and build again..

Look into the eyes...  like the buildings, they have been weathered, they have seen, they have stories to tell..

We too will wrinkle and fade back to where we started....

Time wins.

Wonderful tabblo. Beautiful tones, colors, textures and compositions. And if the universe cycles through repeated "big bangs" then maybe even time doesn't win.

I waited a week to comment your beatyful Tabblo, I have seen it more and more. I dont' completely agree with you: time is a winner on our bodies, of course, but the memory of us still remain in our children an so on, as we look with love at our ancestors' photos, or paintings or designs on the rocks. Look at the shelves of the first pic, at the old houses that perhaps we restore, look at the Big Mosquee (Santa Sofia in Istanbul?), they are still here and they speak to us. Time is a flash....Said so, I would like to live hundred of years because I have so many books to read, so many sites to visit, so many photos to make, etc....Ciao
