The Camera Islands

The Camera Islands, composed of Capones Island and a couple of other smaller islands, lie a few kilometers from the shores of Pundaquit, Zambales in the Philippines. The Camera islands are 2km offshore and Capones is 3 kilometers farther (5.2 km offshore). Capones and Camera are known for their white beaches, speckled with colorful crushed coral. Clear turquoise waters held us spell-bound. High rock cliffs beckon rappellers.

There are no resorts nor facilities on the islands. Tourists usually stay at a resort in Pundaquit, a small fishing village about 3 kms southwest of San Antonio where they can hire a boat to explore Capones Island.

My family and I went to one of these islands two weeks ago. It was so much fun!

He also has a fantastic set of shots of our vacation on these islands.. Too bad, he said he doesn't have time for tabblo yet.. Haha! I'll still convince him, though.. Hopefully he joins, too!

Can Tabblo handle you both!!!??? I love the Hang Loose, his expression says anything BUT that. I love this Tabblo. Vey Serendipitious. It's Beautiful, yet, you create interesting tension with the sprinkling of B&W, the dog, and the shots of another photographer (your bro).
Sirnicolay said at 11:21 a.m. on Apr 24, 2008:
Thank you, Connie.. You should go there! It's a beautiful place.. Just look at this sunset tabblo in this place.. It's beautiful! http://www.tabblo.com/studio/stories/view/1430211/

Thank you, too, Pam! I thought it would be interesting to mix both colored and b/w pics together instead of creating two tabblos to separate them. Thanks! :)
