A couple more throws with that net and they have enough for lunch. Great shots ! ! ! ! !!

Interesting photos. To observe for people, which about it do not suspect, is very interesting. But I do not like a way of catching a fish of this man.

Fun Tab; I can just imagine the sound of the net hitting the water. Cute little fish too, glad he put it back. ... Just wondering if he caught more than fish though; I see what looks like part of a bodum or a milk frother in the net... ? <G>

A good time was had by all!

It is not easy to cast for fish... we have only tried for bait fish... a little bigger than minnows to bait the hook with to catch the bigger fish. A fun time for you both...

Thanks all for your comments. I don't know much about Castnets, but I found it interesting that the caster has to put the net in his/her mouth. Apparently that's part of the method. My favorite pic of the set is the first candid photo. I love the way the sun reflected on his face.

DAR--I have no idea what a bodum or a milk frother is.

MIKE--I don't choose their clothes. :)

IRA--I don't like fishing at all---it's all the same to me--pole, traps, net.

ANGELA--yes, I thought he was very photogenic.

AliDar said at 11:32 a.m. on Apr 27, 2008:
Hey Good Morning Linda! :) ... a bodum and a milk frother are two things for making coffee. Bodum is a brand name, basically, but it's a coffee press, where you put the coffee into a glass, or metal cylinder, and push it down with a plunger like thing so that the coffee will steap. A milk frother is basically the same design, but you move the plunger up and down inside the device to froth the milk for cappuccino. Off to make some now... BTw, I love the way the sun looks on his face too. :)

Jigs said at 1:09 a.m. on Apr 30, 2008:
Why is he wearing a rosary around his neck? Is it like a talisman for him, sort of to guarantee a good catch, I wonder?
Lifequest22 said at 11:10 a.m. on Apr 30, 2008:
Thanks for veiwing and for your comments. JIGS--Sorry, I don't have any idea why he's wearing the Rosary. But I assume he has a reason.
Krisu said at 3:01 p.m. on Apr 30, 2008:
Good one, like this, Linda. :)
Liliana said at 10:48 a.m. on May 1, 2008:
I also wondered why he was using a rosary, Jigs. But it is very frequent to use it, here, in Argentina. Not as a talisman, as you say, but many young guys, more of him from poor areas, use rosaries a lot. For me was strange to see it so far... Maybe the man is from a Mexican or Southamerican country family and it is usual there, too.
The pics are great!!
Lifequest22 said at 2:45 p.m. on May 1, 2008:
Thank You Liliana for explaining the rosary. Tampa has a large population from Latin and South America.
