Today was the long-awaited appt. to go inside what was my grandparents home. Tho' a lot of it is more modernized (therefore no full room views), it did feel WONDERFUL to be there!  The first Tabblo was done last month 'This Old House" with a photo of my grandparents and outside of house only. All leaded glass cabinetry and original light fixtures were left to keep its original 'heritage' history.  It is now occupied by the 'Citizen's Advocacy Group' which helps the elderly and disabled with resources and funding. the legacy continues.

 

 I'M SURE GRANDMA AND GRANDPA WOULD APPROVE!

TY so much Sterling, Bethe, Marcif and -Debs....Grandma was likely laffing as i wanted to take a shot of the old DIRT cellar but was all blocked off with boxes of stuff...so I was kinda like...'whew!!" that place, when they made me go down for 'spuds', scared me BAD ..spiders and bug and perhaps..........monsters too! LOL It's been a great 'karmic' happening for me . thx all PMC

How fun for you to go through you Grandparents home... Wonderful windows and the ceiling fixtures too... so nice they have been saved. We have been able to go through our Grandparents and our Great-grandparents homes a few years ago... their spirits must have smiled to that we were interested and cared. THX
