We come out of canyon on 6th day at Lee's Ferry, near Navajo Bridge which crosses the Colorado River. |

Paria Canyon is located in southern central Utah, and crosses the Arizona border. This was a 38 mile backpack with an added 7 mile side-trip up Buckskin Canyon. You walk in the river the majority of the way, and camp near natural springs. The gray-green muddy water of Paria River is alkaline and last choice for drinking. Luckily springs are plentiful. Each day revealed new aspects of this beautiful canyon. |
