Cholo

Last weekend, my mum told me a strange story about our favorite family pet, Cholo. Two weeks ago, my mother and stepfather went home after a long day at work and was surprised that Cholo did not come running to the gate to greet them as he usually does every afternoon. They searched for him in our village for an hour and gave up when they were able to finish looking for him at every corner and street in our village. About three days later, my mum saw that our next-door neighbors were keeping Cholo in their house. She politely asked them how did our dog end up in their house, and they said that the dog just went in. It was odd, of course, since our dog would always go home. So they speculated that our neighbors wanted to kidnap our cute little pet. After the incident, Cholo was acting a bit strange--he was not as energetic as he used to be, and he would not eat as much as before. It took a few days before he returned to his usual self. We could not help but think that the neighbors did something traumatic to Cholo. Anyway, he's fine now. My mum did not confront the neighbor since they didn't have enough evidence to back up any accusation or speculation that they had. She and my stepdad became more careful, though, and always made sure that Cholo stays inside our house before they leave home for work. Poor dog... He's too cute and adorable..

Really He's too cute and adorable! Amusing! Beautiful. But he would be very unfortunate in the another's house.

Cute little one! ! ! Too bad they can't talk and tell of their adventures, good and bad. Maybe someone could give the neighbour a little one of her own and maybe she will leave the other ones alone.

Den, that's a very keen observation! :)

Doreen, I do hope our neighbors would get one....

Jigs said at 10:18 a.m. on Jun 3, 2008:
Aww poor little Cholo! He must have been all confused and traumatized to have these strange humans making him stay in an unfamiliar place! For 3 days? He probably thought he was abandoned, poor thing! If only he could talk. But I'm so glad the story has a happy ending and he's back home with his beloved family, safe and sound. If that were one of my dogs... ugghh, I dread to think of that possibility!!!
Msisongkram said at 10:30 a.m. on Jun 3, 2008:
Poor little fella. But I can see why the neighbour wanted to keep him as he is not only cute but very adorable. Thanks God you have him back! Great pictures anyway!

James, Cholo is an adorable little dog. I'm glad your story had a happy ending. I had a similar thing happen with one of my dogs...she was gone for over a week, before a neighbor told me where she was. She was one happy little dog to be back home!! And I was happy to have her back!!

WOw, that's strange. I am so glad you got him back! I bet he was traumatized because he knew he was right next door, but the neigbors wouldn't let him out to go home. Poor little fella. He is a very cute pooch and looks full of personality!!
