Rail is the primary mode of transportation in Tokyo. Tokyo has the most extensive urban railway network in the world . There are 102 passenger lines in Tokyo. 20 million people use trains in Tokyo daily. 3,520,000 use the largest train station in Tokyo- Shinjuku- each day !

10 minutes ! I know people here who commute for .........5 hours (roundtrip )........each weekday..........Most of the people I know commute for 2 hours each weekday .......
