There was not much activity around the Robin nest last Sunday, so I had my son check to see if the babies were still in the nest.  He told me that the nest was empty.....Oh dear.  I couldn't figure out why the robins continued to take food to the nest over the following three days.  I know birds are birdbrains, BUT.....

I went up the ladder to check for myself, camera in hand.  I was overjoyed to see two little ones still in the nest.  They have grown quite a bit in the last week.
