Shector said at 6:19 p.m. on May 20, 2008: molto bello..mi piacciono questi colori e questo sapore di passato.bravissimo.
Rita.Mandarino said at 6:21 p.m. on May 20, 2008: LIIIINDO Edu.
Liliana said at 6:43 p.m. on May 20, 2008: Esos autos parecen vivos, un solo cuerpo con las plantas.
Pkeener said at 6:56 p.m. on May 20, 2008: These old cars, the leaves and the brick streets are so of another era. the way you compsed and cropped this tabblo makes it seems mythical. Lindo, indeed.
Eduardo.affonso said at 6:56 p.m. on May 20, 2008: JODI: It's Autumn here in the South Hemisphere, and the streets of Colonia were covered by golden leaves, which added a sad touch to these "dead" cars.
Grazie, SHECTOR.
Eduardo.affonso said at 6:58 p.m. on May 20, 2008: Thanks, PAM! I thought of you when I saw these cars. You'd probably have taken many more photos, and made a much better tab.
Tishfish said at 7:08 p.m. on May 20, 2008: Great tabblo Eduardo ! ! ! ! !

ConnieL said at 9:04 p.m. on May 20, 2008: Sad to see what were once elegant cars in this state. The leaves definitely add to the feel of sadness. Very good tabblo!!
Sirnicolay said at 10:04 p.m. on May 20, 2008: Amo los detalles rústicos en esos coches. Fotos magníficas, as siempre, Edu:) ¡Grazias!

Wildthing said at 5:31 a.m. on May 21, 2008: Great shots of these old cars. They make terrific subjects for photography.
Eduardo.affonso said at 8:01 a.m. on May 21, 2008: Thanks for your comments (& compliments!), ALLAN, ANDRE, CHARLES, CONNIE, DOREEN!
You are right, MIKE: cars know how do pose for a photo... They are part of our culture, they mean a lot to us (in terms of style, status etc), so their decadence mirrors a little bit of ours, too.
BOBBIE & MARIUS: I would never dare to think of using a car as a vase for plants, and I'm not sure if that happened merely by chance (an abandoned car, some seeds spread by the wind, sun, rain and... voilà!). It's magical, indeed.
I agree, DEBBIE: cars do have faces (I didn't have to watch that movie, "Cars", to think so!). Taka a look at pics #8, #11 and #12 - and you'll notice their tiredness, insolence, sadness.
I didn't know you could speak Spanish, JAMES! I love the rough details, too.
DEN: Who am I to teach anyone? I'm still learning, and all I have is my eyes of an apprentice.
Candlepower said at 1:35 p.m. on May 21, 2008: Wonderful shot! Love the old cars, well done great tabblo!
Liliana said at 4:43 p.m. on May 21, 2008: Sí, bueno, todas las de Colonia, es verdad... Sorry...
AliDar said at 4:58 p.m. on May 21, 2008: I feel like I've slipped back into time with these old cars and cobblestones! ... So much so that I'm imaging some of these are still being used, (of course not the one with the greenery growing out through it's roof) and I expect any minute to see someone come out of their house and start one up. ... Not only do the fall leaves go wonderfully with the old cars, being that they both are returning back to the earth, but they also give the impression of having gone back in time. ... I don't know why that is though... maybe I've watched way too many movies where the swirling of the leaves where an indication of the movement of time.
Chiloedream said at 5:02 p.m. on May 21, 2008: Des voitures qui nous font remonter le temps... Merci Eduardo.
EMA said at 5:47 p.m. on May 22, 2008: Beautiful old cars! It's a pity they are so abandoned! Your tabblo is very beautiful. Because all mach, the old cars and the falling leaves. My regards Edu!
