Ciudad de Rocha, Uruguay.
 
Hotel Arrarte

Rocha is a little city in lest side of Uruguay.

Is the city where I was born, and the tipical

architecture ever call my attention.

Last  time I visited Rocha I need whait for

the bus half hour, and take this pictures .

Hope you like !!

Rocha es mi ciudad natal, siempre me llamó la atención

por los detalles de su arquitectura.

La última vez que visité la ciudad , tuve que esperar el omnibus

por media hora , y saque estas fotos del centro de la misma.

Pues si que es bella tu ciudad Oscar, la arquitectura, como mencionas, es bellisima. Excelentes fotos, me gustó que usaras el color, el blanco y negro y el sepia.

te doy toda la razon, Oscar! Es bellisima tu cuidad! Valio la pena la media hora que tuviste que esperar el camion! Q tan vieja es esta cuidad? Esa arquitectura es como de 1880 y adelante, verdad!

Thanks everybody for the nice comments!! Exacto Karsten, la división territorial que creó el departamento de Rocha es de 1880.

Un comentario mas, el Hotel Arrarte fué propiedad de mi abuelo paterno en el inicio del siglo pasado. :-)

Preciosas fotos. Pero... Rocha no es una "pequeña ciudad", según tengo entendido. Nunca estuve pero es una ciudad conocida. Me recuerda las ciudades de Entre Ríos, nuestra provincia, que limita con Uruguay, esas casas con ventanas enrejadas, esos zaguanes. En realidad, muy rioplatense... Se ve muy armónico, todo.
