The Butterfly and the Two Bald Men

During our company outing last Saturday, my Jesuit friend, Bro. Anthony, and I hiked and climbed our way up to a mountain where we could take good pictures of Caylabne Bay in Cavite, Philippines. Actually, the gate of the resort where we stayed for the day was also above this mountain, and when we took a rest from taking pictures, we saw this butterfly (or moth?) by the door of the guard's post. We took pictures of it, but we were out of luck because it was too dark inside the room. So I just sat down by the door. Then suddenly, the golden-brown flying insect sat on my head. Bro. Anthony took pictures of me with the butterfly (or moth) sitting very comfortably on my head. I told him to take my camera and take pictures. When he gave me back my camera, I took a few more self-portraits with this weird, vain insect. What a perfect combination of two vain beings. LOL! Then I told Bro. Anthony (who's also bald) to sit down and maybe the butterfly (or moth) would land on his head, too. And it did. Hahaha!

That is really AMAZING! Love the colors. Great photos!

James, this is great stuff. :-)) It's a butterfly, not a moth...a butterfly's wings go up, like this one, and a moth's wings lay down.

Bobbie, that's a funny interpretation.. :) Maybe it's really a soul from the past.. When Bro. Anthony and I left, the butterfly just remained fluttering around :)

Thank you, too, David and Edite!

Truly amazing shots and storyline man! Looks like the Monarch butterfly to me sorta' but I'm not sure they are anywhere but in North America...as for you and your Jesuit 'brotherfriend', note the patient and secret smile on his face and your grimace (for fun likely,,) and beads of perspiration...the butterfly was there to play with you both ....and perhaps to test. Maybe it never left and was 'bugging' you 'cause that was its home and you were special guests? ;-) pmc
