DEN & ANDRE: Hope you'll be able to see all these by yourselves in a near future. Take this as an invite!

Da vossa piedade me despido,

Eu sou, Senhor, a ovelha desgarrada
Cobrai-a, e não queirais, Pastor divino,
Perder na vossa ovelha a vossa glória.

Thanks, SAUL! Bahia has an amazing sky, and a wonderful lighting. Wish I could have captured its evenings, too, the sun setting over these old buildings.

I love the effects of time and weather on these old churches, the discoloured stone, and the bits of trees and greenery sprouting out from such unlikely places. Salvador must have been very prosperous at one time to have put so much effort and resources into the building of these, and it's a bit sad to see them being left to the ravages of time.
